We've been living in the low 90s for a week now, and today makes seven days at 90 or above. That's the streak that's kept us sweating through mid-September. By Thursday that run ends when a warm front moves through and knocks our high down to the mid 80s. It's been a hot year overall. We've hit 90 or above 92 times so far in 2026, with 36 of those days reaching 95 or hotter. The peak came in August when we touched 100 degrees. But this particular seven-day run is what's been in your face lately, and it breaks this week. Thursday brings that shift. Friday and Saturday both settle into the mid 80s with low humidity. It's the coolest stretch we've had in a while.
